North East Finland Rural Services

Kuusamo Town with the Municipality of Posio and Municipality of Taivalkoski have signed a collaboration agreement for organising rural governance. The agreement is based on the Act on the Organisation of Rural Governance in Municipalities (210/2010, in Finnish). The local government collaboration area is referred to as the North East Finland Rural Services with Kuusamo as the responsible municipality.
