Central Administration

Central administration is in charge of financial and personnel management, records management and city archives, centralised information management and procurement, occupational safety and health and cooperation systems, procurement of consumer and financial advice services. The duties of housing authorities were transferred from central administration to urban infrastructure services as of 1.6.2017.

Central administration and its service units procure or produce such internal services required by the town organisation as:

  • office services
  • financial management and accounting
  • personnel management, salaries and wages
  • IT management and ICT services
  • town archives
  • centralised procurement services
  • engagement and well-being services
