Kuusamo Skate Park lies behind the indoor ice rink and provides a high-quality setting for regular skaters and more goal-oriented enthusiasts alike.
The much-awaited Kuusamo Skate Park was finally completed in August 2020. The old park, a board construction built on tarmac, was replaced by a modern concrete skate park. The basic idea was to create a versatile park with clear-cut lines and enough room for everyone and no need to queue and wait for one’s turn. The final result is a success and provides a high-quality setting for regular skaters as well as more goal-oriented enthusiasts.
